Early treatment of this illness is the most effective way to lessen the severity of this syndrome’s onset and exacerbation. It is found that vigilance to future strep infections must be maintained to deter future exacerbations which can cause progression of this disorder. Sometimes while healing, children are sensitive to many types of infections so a proactive approach to a healthy lifestyle is important.
PANDAS Network has done its best to contact each provider listed on this page. We have broken the list into TWO Categories — Leading Physicians and “PANDAS friendly”. Treatment and services may depend on the provider’s specialty. We encourage you to educate yourself before a visit and try to determine if it will be a good fit for your child’s possible needs. Please remember that treatment varies with each child and their specific case. Not all providers offer all forms of treatment.
Providers can request to be added to the PANDAS Network.org Provider List by firstname.lastname@example.org. We are only able to consider names upon the request of the provider. If you are a parent and wish to have your provider’s name added, please provide them with our email address and ask that they contact us.
Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of PANDAS and PANS is currently under evaluation by researchers.
PANDAS Network is not in a position to evaluate the professional qualifications and competence of individual physicians. The inclusion of a physician on this list should not be interpreted as an endorsement by PANDAS Network.
We cannot guarantee that physicians on the list are accepting new patients, or that they accept insurance.
