The NIMH website and many doctors believe titers should be elevated to indicate an active strep infection. This table indicates that often they are not elevated or only slightly elevated. This table reiterates that the best indicator is a positive strep test or a fever/sore throat event occurring 4 to 6 mos. prior to the PANDAS Acute Onset. |
